"When she looked back, Neilly thought it probably started the day she dropped her cousin Jazeen's suitcase. Up until then, things had been pretty normal in her life...."

"What your mother is trying to tell you," her father went on, "is that your Grandma T puts on a short perpormance in the hallway every night. She dances out of her bedroom, down the hall and then back to her bedroom. It's short and sweet. She's sound asleep all the time she's dancing...."

"All the way back, Neilly kept wanting to tell Jazeen about her instant trip back to Vermont. They were a block from Grandma T's when she began. "Now, I know you're going to think this is impossible..."

"I can't believe this ... I just can't believe this!" Jazeen said over and over again.
"Look," said Neilly, pointing at the clock on the wall. "No time has passed! It's the same time as when we left!"
"Not possible," said Jazeen shaking her head.
"Well, it happened ... even if it's not possible," said Neilly. She took the gold watch out of her dress pocket. "I'm going to put this back before I forget."
